Vitorio Scarpi is a lyric tenor who has stood out in the operatic scene for his brilliant voice and musicality.
He has regularly performed in theaters and with orchestras in Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Campinas, Manaus, Gramado, Jaraguá do Sul, Joinville, among other cities, under the baton of conductors such as Ira Levin, Roberto Tibiriçá, Ricardo Kanji, André dos Santos, Carlos Prazeres, Wagner Polistchuk, Jorge Scheffer, Linus Lerner, Gabriel Rhein Schiratto, Emiliano Patarra, among others.
In the field of opera, he has played roles such as Nemorino in "The Elixir of Love," Edgardo in "Lucia di Lammermoor," Elvino in "La Sonnambula," Rinuccio in "Gianni Schicchi," Rodolfo in "La Bohème," "Borsa" in Rigoletto, Student in "He Who Says Yes" by Kurt Weill, "Charles" in the national premiere of the opera "The Long Christmas Dinner" by P. Hindemith.
In the symphonic repertoire, he has sung renowned works such as Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony" with the Campinas Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Carlos Prazeres, Händel's "Messiah" with the Minas Gerais Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Roberto Tibiriçá, the "Missa de Santa Cecília" by José Maurício Nunes Garcia at the Teatro Colón (BSAS) under the direction of Ricardo Kanji, and also Puccini's "Messa di Gloria" at the Teatro Guaíra under the direction of Abel Rocha.
Winner of six national and international lyric singing competitions, he notably achieved first place in the Maria Callas competition in 2020, first place in the Linus Lerner competition in 2021, and first place in the Galyna Pysarenko competition in the city of Novyi Horod in Russia in 2021, in addition to masterclasses conducted with James Valenti, Eric Maggiore, Angel Blue, and Piotr Beczała.
